InfoKid.org.uk, which provides information for parents and carers about kidney conditions in babies, children and young people, has recently moved to a new platform. The new and improved site allows for embedded multimedia such as patient videos and animation, making the resources more accessible for your patients.

There are new patient education videos available on the InfoKid website as well as on the Kidney Care UK YouTube channel. These are a great resource for patients and as we develop more, we will be updating them gradually over the next year or so.

Thank you to everyone who is helping to review and update the existing topics.

Patient information on rare kidney diseases will now be kept up-to-date on the Kidney Care UK website. This will also allow the information to be PIF TICK accredited (the independently assessed quality mark for trusted health information). The Patient Information Committee will be working with the Rare Renal leads to optimise these important topics.
