Transplant First: Practical Guidance for Cardiac Testing webinar

Join the KQIP Transplant First programme for a practical webinar focused on applying the latest BTS/BCS guidance for cardiovascular assessment in kidney transplant candidates.

Taking place on 18 June 2026, 13:00–15:30, this interactive session will explore how centres can adopt more consistent, evidence-based approaches to cardiac testing while supporting timely access to transplantation and reducing unnecessary delays in the patient pathway.

The programme includes practical quality improvement learning and real-world experience from Stevenage, Leeds Teaching Hospitals and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, covering frailty clinics, DASI score implementation and use of the Six Minute Walk Test.

The session will conclude with a panel discussion, shared learning and practical take-away tips to support local transplant assessment pathways.
