NEW UKKA/BTS joint guideline – Expressions of Interest sought

Expressions of interest are invited to develop new clinical guidelines for the pre-transplant assessment for children and young people in the UK undergoing kidney transplantation.  The guideline will be developed jointly with the British Transplant Society with the aim of reducing unwarranted variation in practice and facilitate an equitable approach to transplant work-up.

We invite multidisciplinary representation from across adult and paediatric kidney care. To apply*, please send a short statement explaining why you would like to be involved and what you feel you would bring to the guideline, along with a completed conflict of interest form to ukka@ukkidney.org by 24th August 2026.

Please include in your statement if you would be interested in a chairing role, or leading a systematic review, which will form part of the guideline.

Please note: HCP’s predominantly working in kidney care would be expected to hold a current UKKA membership.
