The UK Kidney Association (UKKA) is inviting expressions of interest for the trustee roles of Academic Vice President and Clinical Vice President for the Multi-Professional Team (MPT).

 

UKKA Academic Vice President - Multi-Professional Team (MPT)

This is an important leadership role within the Association, helping to strengthen the academic profile, research engagement, and professional development opportunities for the UK renal multi-professional workforce.

The Academic VP (MPT) will work closely with the UKKA Trustee Board, professional groups, and academic partners to support and promote research, education, and collaboration across the multidisciplinary kidney community. The role will help ensure that the academic voice of the multi-professional team is represented within UKKA’s strategic work and future priorities.

We are seeking an individual with a strong interest in advancing academic activity within the renal multi-professional community, with experience in research, education, or clinical academic practice. The role offers an opportunity to shape the future direction of academic development for nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists, psychologists, scientists, and other members of the renal MDT.

The Clinical VP (MPT) will work closely with the UKKA Trustee Board, professional groups, and national partners to support clinical engagement, collaboration, and leadership across the kidney community. The role will help ensure that the clinical perspective of the multi-professional team is represented within UKKA’s strategic work and future priorities.

We are seeking an individual with a strong interest in advancing clinical practice within the renal multi-professional community, with experience in clinical leadership, service development, or quality improvement. The role offers an opportunity to help shape the future direction of clinical engagement for nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists, psychologists, scientists, and other members of the renal multidisciplinary team.
