This course provides an introduction regarding indications, contraindications and complications of renal biopsy. It also includes pathology teaching, consent and ethical issues, and up-to-date management of common biopsy outcomes. Over the 2 days, there will be hands-on sessions in small groups with the opportunity to practice the use of ultrasound to identify and localize native kidneys of healthy volunteers as well as transplant patients.
