Join colleagues from Pakistan for an insightful session focused on key developments in nephrology, and the challenges and innovations shaping kidney care within the country. Through expert presentations and discussion, speakers will share their experiences of nephrology services and improving kidney care in a resource-constrained setting.
Two of Pakistan’s leading consultant nephrologists, Prof Dr Akhtar Ali and Prof Dr Zahid Nabi, will kick off the session by exploring the establishment and evolution of nephrology services in Pakistan. Further insights will be shared into improving access to dialysis and transplantation, including deceased donor transplantation, and advances in interventional nephrology from a global perspective.
