Research Matters is an annual event, marking International Clinical Trials Day, bringing the topic of healthcare research closer to our patients, local residents, staff and students.
Hosted by Barts Health hospitals, this year's theme is ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare research’ and will feature talks about some of the latest research studies exploring how artificial intelligence can drive improvements in healthcare. From AI-powered diagnostics to predictive models for patient outcomes, these cutting-edge studies are unlocking new possibilities for better, faster, and more personalised care.
Join us as leading researchers from Barts Health and Queen Mary, University of London, present their projects, exploring the intersection of technology and medicine, and discuss the transformative potential of AI in improving everything from clinical decision-making to patient experiences.
This event offers valuable insights into the research shaping the future of healthcare and is suitable for all audiences.
Date: Tuesday 20 May, 5:30-7pm, followed by drinks/canapé reception
Venue: Perrin Lecture Theatre, 4 Newark St, Whitechapel, E1 2AT
