The UK Renal Registry (UKRR) has updated three of its core data portals, offering kidney care teams access to the most complete and up-to-date information currently available from across UK kidney centres.

What’s new?

The following online portals have been refreshed with the latest verified data:

  • Audit Standards (KRT portal)
National indicators covering patient demographics, treatment types and outcomes.

  • Centre Dashboards (KRT portal)
Interactive benchmarking tools that allow teams to explore their centre’s data and compare across regions.

  • Completeness Portal
A tool to assess how complete your centre’s submitted data is across key metrics, helping teams identify gaps and improve data quality.

Why it matters

  • Supports local audit and improvement – Use the data to drive quality improvement initiatives and support clinical governance.

  • Enables benchmarking – Easily compare centre performance and variation across the UK.

  • Highlights data quality – Use the Completeness Portal to identify missing data and strengthen submissions.

These tools are designed for the whole kidney team - consultants, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, psychologists, scientists, service managers and more - to support shared decision-making and service development.

Where to access the portals

You can find all three updated tools via the UKRR data portals page.
