A key elected leadership role within the UK Kidney Association, the Medical Clinical Vice President (CVP) sits on the Trustee Board and helps shape the strategic direction of the Association and the future of kidney care across the UK.
Working closely with the Multi Professional Team CVP, Presidents, Trustee Board, professional groups and national partners, the Medical CVP provides clinical leadership across the Association and helps ensure UKKA activities reflect the needs and priorities of the kidney community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Trustee of the UK Kidney Association
- Providing strategic oversight of UKKA's Special Interest Groups
- Supporting UKKA's clinical development, quality improvement and professional engagement activities
- Working with committees, professional groups and external stakeholders to influence clinical policy and practice
- Helping ensure UKKA activities, including UK Kidney Week, deliver value for members and support excellence in kidney care
- Acting as an ambassador for UKKA and representing the Association nationally
We're looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about improving kidney care and patient outcomes
- Has experience of clinical leadership and influencing change
- Can work collaboratively across professional and organisational boundaries
- Is keen to support and engage the wider kidney community
- Wants to help shape the future direction of UKKA
