Early-Onset Hypertension
To establish a national prospective registry of individuals with young onset (before age 40 years) hypertension. We envisage that this RaDaR cohort will evolve into the UKs national precision medicine registry for young onset hypertension by linking with data from primary care records, Hospital Episodes Statistics, prescribing data, imaging, laboratory result, mortality data and eventually genomic resources, we hope to generate insights into lifetime cardiovascular and kidney risk. It will also serve as a highly efficient platform for observational and interventional clinical research studies.
We will commence recruitment and aim to generate research proposals in line with our aims.
