Our Data
The UK Kidney Association manages information about people with kidney disease through the UK Renal Registry (UKRR) and the National Registry of Rare Kidney Diseases (RaDaR).
The UKRR brings together demographic, clinical and patient-reported information to support national clinical audit, quality improvement and research. Its collections cover chronic kidney disease (CKD), kidney replacement therapy (KRT), acute kidney injury (AKI) and patient-reported measures.
RaDaR holds detailed information about adults and children with rare kidney diseases, organised into disease-specific cohorts. Following participants over time helps researchers understand how these conditions develop, assess outcomes and inform the development of treatments.
Information contributed by kidney centres, hospital laboratories and patients supports both registries, providing evidence to improve kidney care.
