Special Interest Groups

UKKA Special Interest Groups (SIGs) bring together members with a shared interest in a defined area of kidney care. They provide a focused space to connect with colleagues, exchange expertise, and develop practical work around priorities identified by the group.

Each SIG has a steering group that coordinates its priorities, projects and workstreams, supported by a wider community of members. Depending on its area of interest, a SIG’s work may include education, practical resources, clinical pathways, service improvement and contributions to wider UKKA activity.

Get involved

UKKA members can join Special Interest Groups at any time through our membership platform. Vacancies for SIG co-chairs and steering group roles are advertised throughout the year, alongside calls and expressions of interest to contribute to specific workstreams, projects and outputs.
