About the Starter Network
The Kidney Starter Network helps medical students and resident doctors take the next step towards a career in nephrology. Whether you are exploring the specialty for the first time, arranging a renal taster placement or starting to build your portfolio for specialty training, the network provides opportunities to learn from trainees and consultants, develop your knowledge and connect with the wider kidney community. Working alongside the UKKA and SpRs, the Kidney Starter Network aims to make it easier for aspiring nephrologists to access the support, experiences and opportunities that can help shape their future career.
