Renal Drug Database

The Renal Drug Database

This is a specialist prescribing resource for healthcare professionals caring for people living with kidney disease. Published by Taylor & Francis, it contains more than 900 medicine monographs covering clinical use, dosing in normal renal function and renal impairment, drug interactions, metabolism and administration. The Database is validated and governed by the UK Renal Pharmacy Group through its expert editorial board.

The Database builds on decades of work by the UK Renal Pharmacy Group. What began with the publication of the A–Z of Drug Use and Guide to Patient Counselling in Renally Impaired Adults in 1994 later developed into The Renal Drug Handbook before becoming today’s online Renal Drug Database. The UKRPG continues to validate and govern the content, ensuring it remains accurate, relevant and clinically robust.
