What we do

We support paediatric nephrology nursing by:

  • Developing national nursing competencies and educational resources
  • Delivering specialist education, training and workshops
  • Supporting research, quality improvement and nursing-led innovation
  • Promoting collaboration and the sharing of best practice across specialist children’s kidney centres
  • Providing a national network for paediatric nephrology nurses
  • Representing the interests of paediatric nephrology nurses within the UKKA and the wider kidney community
