Developed by experts from the PNNG, the National Paediatric Renal Nursing Competencies provide a standardised framework for the education and development of paediatric nephrology nurses across the UK and Ireland. The framework combines a theory workbook with practical competencies covering core paediatric kidney care, haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. It supports nurses to develop their knowledge and clinical skills, demonstrate competency and progress throughout their careers.
