Paediatric Conference

Since its founding in 1973, the BAPN has hosted clinical and scientific meetings for the paediatric nephrology community. Today, the annual UK Paediatric Kidney Conference continues that tradition as a collaborative meeting led by the BAPN and the PNNG, providing a forum for consultants, trainees, nurses and the wider multiprofessional team to share research, discuss developments in clinical practice and explore the latest advances in the care of children and young people with kidney disease.

Founded in 1973, the BAPN began meeting alongside the Renal Association around 30 years ago, before establishing its own Winter Meeting.

In recent years, the BAPN has joined forces with the PNNG to deliver their annual event, now known as the UK Paediatric Kidney Conference, which attracts around 200 delegates.

The conference brings together professionals from across the paediatric kidney community to share knowledge, explore best practice and learn from one another. The programme begins with smaller concurrent sessions before delegates come together for further presentations, case discussions and the highly anticipated debate.
